Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Home Care Specialist. As a Home Care Specialist, you will provide personalized care and support to elderly patients or individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Hygiene Assistance: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
  • Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Emergency Response: Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency, ensuring the client's safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Certification: Valid CNA certification.
  • Background Check: Willingness to submit to a background check.
  • References: Willingness to provide at least three professional references.
  • Availability: Availability to work one of the following shifts: part-time hours less than 6 hours a day or available to work full-time hours greater than 6 hours. Rotating weekend requirements for clients that have weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 5 years experience).
  • Skills: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Personal Qualities: Supportive, compassionate, and willing to enforce health and safety standards.
