Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Counter Representative to join our team at GATR Truck Center. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate and efficient parts ordering, and maintaining a clean and organized parts department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Train in related departments prior to assuming the Parts Counter role, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our products and services.
  • Clean and organize parts shelves and storage areas, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Stock incoming parts, maintain displays, and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Communicate customer requests to management, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Assist Outside Sales staff with applications and sales, providing expert knowledge and support.
  • Locate parts, order parts from local vendors, and order parts from major suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and accurate fulfillment.
  • Perform physical inventory as needed, including cycle counting and spot checking, to maintain accurate inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Driving Record Insurable through Company Carrier
  • Ability to Read and Interpret Documents
  • Ability to Document/Communicate effectively
