Job Title: Staff Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our nursing team in Gilman, IL. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive care to our patients, including conducting assessments, administering care, and managing both medical and psychiatric needs in collaboration with our medical providers.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time night shift position, with a schedule of 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Staff Nurse in a detox setting and a strong knowledge of discipline-specific principles and practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing-related services for each client, including conducting thorough nursing assessments and delivering routine care.
  • Review medication logs and assist in medical and psychiatric management.
  • Facilitate medication education and integrate nursing considerations into treatment plans.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation adhering to facility and State requirements.
Requirements:
  • An active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
  • Nursing Diploma or Degree from an accredited school.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Staff Nurse in a detox setting is strongly preferred.
  • Work experience in the field of behavioral or mental health treatment.
