Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics

About the Opportunity
Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a board-certified or eligible family medicine physician with obstetrics skills to join our well-established provider group in Omaha, Nebraska.
This outpatient-only position offers a 4- or 4.5-day workweek with 36 patient hours per week and limited telephone calls, including an after-hours nurse triage line.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with experienced providers, nurses, and administration, as well as participate in academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine.

This position comes with a lucrative compensation and benefits package, including relocation assistance, 36 days of paid time off, CME allowance, and malpractice coverage.
Responsibilities
- Patient care: Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, develop comprehensive treatment plans, conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, provide clear and concise medical information, foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Digital procedures: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform procedures as needed, collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
- Team collaboration: Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions, provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
- Quality improvement: Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement, implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in family medicine with obstetrics.
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible.
Pay Range: $126.45 - $138.38/hour.
