Job Overview
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic team. As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating comprehensive nutritional care and delivering meaningful education to residents and their families.
About the Role
This flexible 30-40 hour per week position offers a competitive hourly wage of $30-$37/hour, based on experience. You will have the opportunity to choose between three to four 10-hour shifts per week, completing your work Monday-Friday during standard business hours. Travel compensation of $30-$37/hr applies for time spent traveling to and from facilities.
Responsibilities
- Holistic Care: Conduct in-depth assessments and coordinate comprehensive nutritional care plans.
- Specialized Skills: Possess experience with tube feedings and proficiency in electronic charting systems.
- Education & Counseling: Deliver personalized nutrition education and counseling to residents and their families.
- Compliance: Adhere to DOH/state/federal regulations and company policies.
- Independence: Operate independently with minimal guidance or training.
Requirements
- RD Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Proficient in general nutrition education, including weight management.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with electronic charting systems.
- Knowledgeable in state survey processes and nutrition care compliance requirements.
