Position Overview:

The Nighttime Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel's public spaces during evening hours. Duties may include (as per hotel requirements): thorough cleaning of designated areas, organizing and maintaining complimentary lobby services such as coffee stations and evening concierge activities, preparing meeting rooms, delivering requested items to guest accommodations, and operating the shuttle van when necessary (specific to the property).

Key Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.
  • Quick and accurate decision-making skills.
  • Capability to perform well under pressure in high-stress situations.
  • Strong listening skills to understand and address concerns from guests and colleagues.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with the hotel's scheduling needs.
  • Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag.
  • Adhere to all Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Provide turndown service for assigned guest rooms and suites.
  • Refresh and clean guest rooms as required.
  • Restock necessary supplies in guest rooms during each shift.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens for housekeeping carts.
  • Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest accommodations.
  • Ensure all hallways, public areas, and storage spaces are clean, organized, and vacuumed.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  • Handle lost and found items according to established protocols.
  • Follow all procedures as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
