Neurologist Specialist

YAI is seeking a skilled Neurologist to join our team. As a Neurologist, you will provide non-surgical specialty care for disorders of the brain and peripheral nerves.

• Analyze patient medical histories and consult with primary care physicians to coordinate care.
• Order and interpret EEG, laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic tests to determine a diagnosis and plan of care for each patient.
• Partner with other members of the care team to provide comprehensive care.
• Complete all electronic health record (EHR) documentation and administrative tasks in a timely manner.

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an ACGME-approved residency in neurology
• Board certified or board eligible in neurology
• Valid DEA registration and New York medical license
• BLS certification

• 2+ years of post-residency experience
• Active Medicare and NYS Medicaid registration
• Familiarity with the NextGen EHR
• Experience with the I/DD patient population
