Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage clinical care for geriatric patients across partner facilities, including skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, independent living, and memory care.
  • Travel to various facilities to deliver medical services four days a week.
  • Act as interim Medical Director at partner facilities.
  • Foster relationships with facility staff, administrators, and nursing directors.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary care team to enhance quality of care and address patient needs.
  • Ensure timely documentation and billing in accordance with Curana policies.
  • Respond to daytime inquiries from facilities when not on-site.
  • Assist in the transition to permanent Curana providers.
  • Represent Curana Health positively at all times.

Qualifications:
  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical institution
  • Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine
  • Unrestricted medical licensure in North Carolina, with the ability to obtain additional licenses within 90 days
  • Unrestricted medical licensure in Arizona, with the ability to obtain additional licenses within 90 days
  • Access to a major airport for frequent travel
  • Compassionate, intelligent, motivated, and a team player
