Avera Housekeeper Job Summary

As a Housekeeper at Avera, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. Your daily tasks will include cleaning and supplying patient and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, and clinics, adhering to standard procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect patient and resident rooms, including floors, surfaces, and equipment
  • Supply patient and resident rooms with linens, toiletries, and other essential items
  • Restock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the Environmental Services team to ensure a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
  • No previous experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate: $20.50 per hour
  • Flexible scheduling: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm as needed; PRN
