Job SummaryThe Cardiovascular Radiology Specialist will be responsible for preparing and operating equipment for cardiovascular procedures while providing comprehensive patient care. This role involves ensuring a sterile environment, training new staff, and collaborating with a team of cardiologists in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition
- Prepares, positions, and provides patient care
- Maintains a sterile environment
- Trains new staff members
- Collaborates with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility
- Experience: Previous procedural area experience preferred
- Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration (ARRT) and/or RCIS certification in Cardiovascular or Electrophysiology
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $27.84 and $45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
