Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at Capital One. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions

Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 6 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)
  • At least 4 years of experience with AWS
  • At least 2 years of team leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
  • 5+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience on improving observability, performance efficiency, and resilience of the applications
  • 5+ years of experience in building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems
