Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering therapies.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN in the Emergency Department.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
