Key Responsibilities

- Foster and reinforce a culture of planning that aligns with Northwestern Mutual's financial planning philosophy and best practices.
- Offer tailored product alternatives based on client needs, risk tolerance, investment horizon, and personal preferences, ensuring that client interests are prioritized. Inform financial advisors of any potential tax implications, costs, and breakpoint information, while mentoring them on how to effectively present these options to clients. Provide comprehensive documentation that outlines the product choices and the rationale behind them.
- Ensure compliance with network office business standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Compile a cohesive package for financial advisors to present to clients, which includes risk product illustrations, proposals, Investment Policy Statements, and other relevant materials.
- Prepare necessary documentation such as agendas, performance reports, and marketing collateral.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, or a related discipline.
- Life, Accident & Health Insurance licenses (to be obtained within 90 days of employment).
- Series 6 & 63 licenses (recommended).
- Experience in advisory services and broker/dealer environments, demonstrating a solid understanding of investment products and market dynamics.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring high accuracy in all tasks.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Proactive in identifying tasks and taking appropriate actions.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for personal and professional development.
