About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team at Nouveau Medspa and Salon. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, helping them relax, relieve pain, and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments to determine the appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans
  • Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health to provide effective massage therapy
  • Administer various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage. Prenatal massage experience is a plus.
  • Utilize acute pain management techniques to alleviate discomfort and promote healing
  • Conduct physical examinations to identify areas of tension or injury
  • Provide exceptional patient service by maintaining a professional and caring demeanor
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Massage Therapist and relevant certification
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
  • Proficiency in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage. Prenatal and hot stone and cupping may be taught on the job.
  • Familiarity with pain management techniques and acute pain relief
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to listen attentively to client needs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
