Atrium Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to serve as the Program Chair for the General Studies program at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences. As a key member of the academic leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the program, ensuring its continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate faculty members, ensuring they meet the highest standards of teaching and academic excellence.
- Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
- Design and implement curriculum and scheduling, ensuring alignment with college and accreditation requirements.
- Conduct student and program assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Ensure ongoing evaluation and compliance with accreditation requirements, maintaining the program's reputation for excellence.
- Oversee the acquisition and maintenance of necessary resources for the general studies program, ensuring a supportive learning environment.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline, as well as previous teaching experience at the college level.
