Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Teacher to join our team at the Indian Creek Correctional Center. As an HVAC Teacher, you will be responsible for providing effective Career and Technical Education Instruction in the assigned trade area, assisting students to complete required competencies, and ensuring the lab is operated in compliance with safety management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality instruction in HVAC trade area
  • Assist students in completing required competencies
  • Ensure lab safety and compliance
  • Maintain accurate student records
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years' experience in HVAC trade area
  • Eligibility for Journeyman or Master Electrician License or Technical Professional License in HVAC
  • Teaching certificate by the Department of Education
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in HVAC trade area
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License or Technical Professional License in HVAC
  • Knowledge of correctional education classroom management
