Event Security Job Description

At Allied Universal Event Services, we're seeking a skilled Event Security Specialist to join our team. As an Event Security Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in event day preparation and execution, including setting up security checkpoints and coordinating with event staff.
  • Screen guests during entry, using bag searches, hand wands, or metal detectors, and verify IDs to ensure only authorized individuals gain access.
  • Protect guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets by monitoring security breaches at vital checkpoints.
  • Respond quickly to potential crowd control issues and provide escorts for unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
  • Provide a positive experience for guests as they arrive at your facility entrance, aisle, concourse area, or other location.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
