Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working 5 days a week during orientation and 4 days a week once trained. You will work closely with the Lead IR Tech and Director to ensure seamless daily operations and implement initiatives for the department. Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Document patient care given and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and provide patient education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Requirements:
  • Current state RN license and bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred.
