Job Description

Overview

Essentia Health is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in need.

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs for patients
Offer comfort care and other assistance as needed
Safely transfer patients and take vital signs
Maintain accurate recordkeeping and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN
Work in a safe and clean environment to promote patient healing

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health is preferred
Must be registered as a Nurse Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health within 3 months from date of employment
BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
