Position Summary:

Bravo Recruiting Solutions Corp is in search of a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a temporary contract role. Speech-Language Pathologists play a crucial role in assessing and treating disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing across various age groups. They collaborate with clients to create tailored therapy plans aimed at enhancing communication abilities and improving overall life quality.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Performing thorough assessments to evaluate clients' speech and language capabilities.
  • Designing and executing personalized treatment strategies to meet each client's unique requirements.
  • Delivering therapeutic interventions to enhance speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
  • Working alongside other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Tracking patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of clients' progress and treatment approaches.
  • Educating clients and their families on effective communication techniques and strategies.
  • Staying informed about the latest developments and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Upholding ethical and professional standards established by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and other relevant bodies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • State licensure or certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
  • Experience with varied populations and clinical environments.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.
  • Empathy and compassion for clients and their families.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Bilingual skills in an additional language.
  • Experience with pediatric or geriatric patient populations.
  • Familiarity with assistive communication technologies and devices.
