Job Summary:

This Photography Specialist is a full-time position based at our home offices. The Photography Specialist is responsible for creating high-end still life photography that enriches the customer experience online and drives direct sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Photographer and team to produce impactful still life imagery for the Terrain website and marketing materials.
  • Work alongside the Senior Photographer, Art Director, and Stylist to create compelling product photography images for the Terrain website and marketing materials.
  • Consistently produce high-quality images within established standards, focusing on composition and lighting techniques.
  • Display strong knowledge of natural and studio lighting, and troubleshoot/ suggest improvements.
  • Stay current with photography and market trends to ensure imagery remains fresh and relevant.
  • Understand deadlines and schedules to manage high-volume workflow.
  • Maintain and organize photo equipment and studio cleanliness.
  • Work with the Senior Photographer to process and archive imagery from studio and location photo shoots.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of digital studio photography experience in an ecommerce studio.
  • Strong digital photography, still life, lighting, and compositional skills.
  • Knowledge of color and light theory.
  • Knowledge of both natural and studio lighting.
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of teamwork in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Canon EOS, Photoshop, Bridge, Capture One Pro, and Mac OS.
