We are currently seeking a qualified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment at one of our esteemed clients in Portland, ME.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
  2. Administer medications as prescribed, accurately documenting all treatments and interventions.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans.
  4. Transport patients safely and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  5. Participate in on-call responsibilities, responding promptly to emergencies and critical situations within the designated timeframe.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment
  • One to three years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, preferably in a travel setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Physical stamina to perform duties related to patient transport, lifting, and positioning

Estimated Salary: $145,000 - $160,000 per year, based on location and experience.
