1G is a 22-bed Progressive Non-ICU unit at Blodgett Hospital, specializing in the care of medically complex patients, including those with cardiac arrhythmias and requiring bipap. Our team is drawn to 1G for its collaborative environment, dedication to excellence, and the opportunity to learn and challenge themselves in a fast-paced setting.

Scope of Work

As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably, upholding the standards of professional performance as described by the American Nurses Association. You will demonstrate competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Associates in Nursing are required.
  • Bachelors in Nursing are required within 5 years.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.
