Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Server to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Patient Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food service to patients on assigned units, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their experience is positive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take patient menu selections prior to each meal, ensuring accuracy and attention to dietary restrictions.
  • Assemble trays according to patient menu selections, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Interact with nursing staff to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and their food needs are met.
  • Retrieve trays from patients' rooms, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist dietitian with monitoring of patients who are NPO, on liquid diets, or have a calorie count ordered.
  • Communicate any patient-related problems or concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
