Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per yearJob Description

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will perform various tasks to maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, wet-washing, and vacuuming floors. Additionally, this role will involve washing and cleaning windows, doors, and interior glass, as well as servicing lavatories, toilet rooms, and restrooms.

  • Clean and wax furniture
  • Clean and renovate floor surface finishes
  • Replace burned-out light bulbs and fluorescent tubes as needed
  • Shovel, plow, and/or salt walks and steps
  • Moves furniture or equipment within the building as required

This position requires regular attendance and independent travel to work sites within the building. The successful candidate will be able to exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have a short demonstration of skills, minimum 6 months of experience, and be able to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables. A high school diploma is preferred.
