Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Quadrant. As a Pharmacy Technician - Retail, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate distribution of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Distribution: Accurately and efficiently perform drug distribution, medication preparation, compounding, dose calculation, and quality assurance/improvement tasks in accordance with established Departmental procedures.
  • Medication Storage: Monitor medication storage environments outside the pharmacy for appropriate conditions and regulatory compliance.
  • Controlled Substance Management: Comply with Federal, State and Department policies for controlled substance distribution and management.
  • Customer Service: Answer phone calls and respond to med messages courteously, follow up appropriately, and maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times when interacting with patients, coworkers, or other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • 2+ years experience as a Pharmacy Technician - Retail
  • Experienced Pharmacy Technician - Retail
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia
  • Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated results
  • Exceptional track record of customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
  • Participates in all aspects of the emergency drug supply system and specialty tray maintenance.
  • Participates in the orientation and training of new pharmacy staff, as necessary.
