Orlando Health seeks a highly skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our nursing team. In this dynamic role, you will provide exceptional care to patients under the direction of Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination, and nutritional needs
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment
  • Ensure patient safety and security at all times
  • Respect patient privacy, rights, and confidentiality
  • Follow standard precautions to prevent infection and promote healing
  • Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as needed
  • Take vital signs, record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rates, food and fluid intake and output as directed
  • Gather data and accurately document pertinent patient information
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
