Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MSI Systems Corp, DBA Medical Search International. As a PICU Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children in our state-of-the-art pediatric intensive care unit.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage the medical needs of critically ill children, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, cardiovascular support, and other life-sustaining therapies.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current certification as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric critical care nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
