Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is $220,000, depending on skills and experience. The compensation package includes platinum-level health, dental, and vision insurance, FSA, life insurance, bereavement leave, paid time off, and holidays.

Job Description
Pisces Foundation seeks an experienced senior leader to serve as Program Director, implementing the foundation's updated strategic approach in its continuing commitment to funding impact-oriented collective action. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive and implement the foundation's programmatic areas: integrated approaches to environmental work and investments contributing to a more thriving San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-caliber staff of four, overseeing program implementation and ensuring alignment with the foundation's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with key stakeholders, including grantees, community organizations, and other philanthropic institutions.
  • Design and implement effective board meetings, providing critical insights and advice to the President and board members.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 15 years of experience in the nonprofit, private, philanthropic, or public sector, including significant experience directly managing others. You should possess expertise in collective impact and collaboration for impact, as well as a deep understanding of social movements and theories of change. Domain expertise in areas of focus for the foundation, such as environment (water, climate, and energy, environmental education) and/or San Francisco, is essential.
