HRIS Analyst

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to join our team at William & Mary. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our transition to Workday, performing project tasks to include participating in business process design sessions, inventorying/mapping reports, creating test scenarios, testing and troubleshooting issues, and helping design system security.

• Participate in business process design sessions to ensure seamless integration with Workday
• Inventory and map reports to ensure accurate data transfer
• Create test scenarios to validate system functionality
• Test and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design system security

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Strong understanding of HR functions and processes
• Experience implementing or supporting Workday HCM
• Proficiency in querying a relational database (e.g., with SQL)
• Ability to create test scenarios for unit and end-to-end testing
• Proficiency in Excel or similar application
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• One or more years as a Workday analyst or similar role
• Experience managing Workday security
• One or more Workday certifications
