Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care, including recording psychiatric history, developing therapeutic care plans, ordering diagnostic tests, and interpreting test results.
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in psychiatric care through ongoing education and professional development.
- Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with specialization in psychiatric care.
- State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) and prescriptive authority within 60 days of hire.
- Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification obtained within 2 years.
- CPR certification and Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.
- Doctorate degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience working with psychiatric patients and their families.
