About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Hospice Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, ambulation, and toileting.
  • Help maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients.
  • Prepare and serve light meals and snacks.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens.
  • Document patient care and progress.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology.
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Current CPR certification.
