Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $25.16 - $39.82 per hour, with opportunities for additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Job DescriptionRole Summary: As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will employ professional knowledge and judgment to perform technical, physical, clerical and quality assurance functions in the department. You will work under the direction of the Section Supervisor and contribute to the team's efforts in providing high-quality patient care.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze data and results, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely test results.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in medical technology, Clinical Lab Science or equivalent science. Or meet CLIA requirements.
- 1 year of work experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in a hospital setting.
