About the Role

Vail Resorts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at Beaver Creek. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall performance of the retail store, including sales, customer service, and operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall shopping experience
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of retail staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and loss prevention, to achieve business objectives
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and policies to provide expert guidance to customers and staff
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail management, preferably in a ski resort or similar environment
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and enhancing operational efficiency
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • English fluency required; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
