As a Medical Assistant at CenterWell Home Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to seniors, and we are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical duties such as discussing symptoms, gathering and inputting information into the electronic medical records system, taking vital signs, giving injections, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms.
  • Collaborate closely with Physicians and Nurses to deliver direct patient care.
  • Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, with some latitude over prioritization and timing.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in 'back-office' direct patient care.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Less than 2 years of leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bilingual.
  • Hands-on professional experience.
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
  • Experience with HEDIS.
