Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as part of the department's senior management team, assisting in goal development, policy implementation, and priority setting.
  • Interpret, apply, and prepare revisions to relevant codes, ordinances, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a closely related field.
  • Five years of increasingly responsible civil engineering experience, including significant supervisory responsibilities.
  • Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California.
