We are seeking a highly skilled Bariatric Dietitian to join our team at Mary Washington Healthcare. As a Bariatric Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to individuals seeking weight loss and improved health outcomes.

• Assess and monitor the nutritional health of bariatric patients, developing and implementing individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling for individuals, families, and groups, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate continuity of care.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and measure progress towards outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions.
• Reassess the nutrition care process and implement changes as indicated.
• Provide client education and support to promote healthy lifestyle choices and weight management.

• Registered Dietitian (RD), Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), or Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bariatric or Outpatient Dietitian or 2 years of patient education experience, including weight management counseling.
• Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, desirable.
• Member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgeons (ASBS), desirable.
• Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics), desirable.
