We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse. As an L&D nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.

Job Summary:

This is a travel nurse position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As an L&D nurse, you will work closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
  • Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
