Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of critically ill patients.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans to ensure safe and effective care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
- Experience in critical care nursing, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This position requires regular and routine exposure to a variety of unpleasant physical working conditions and frequent exposure to injury, occupational, and/or contagious disease hazards which require standard precautions.
