Position Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography imaging in accordance with established protocols to provide diagnostic information as directed by healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certification Requirements:
    • BLS - Basic Life Support (Mandatory)
    • RT(R)(CT) - Registered Technologist (R) (CT) (Mandatory)
    • or RT(R) - Registered Technologist (R) (Mandatory)
    • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Mandatory)
    • CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Mandatory)
  • Job Duties:
    • Work hours are from 7 AM to 4:30 PM.
    • Conduct CT imaging procedures following the protocols set by the referring physicians or radiologists.
    • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding radiation safety and protection.
    • Prepare and administer contrast media in compliance with hospital regulations.
    • Utilize critical thinking and ethical judgment in delivering high-quality patient care.
    • Operate CT scanners to generate cross-sectional images of optimal quality.
    • Ensure safe operation of CT equipment, adhering to established safety protocols.
  • Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
    • Relevant experience in the field is preferred.
