Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Reminding clients to take their medications on schedule.
  • Aiding clients with therapeutic exercises as directed by a Registered Therapist.
  • Assisting or providing personal care such as grooming, bathing, and dressing.
  • Supporting clients with routine bodily functions.
  • Ensuring a safe, clean, and healthy living environment through light housekeeping tasks.
  • Offering companionship and engagement through activities like reading and walks, as well as accompanying clients to appointments.
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's health status to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator.
  • Repositioning bedridden patients as necessary.
  • Checking for any signs of injury or distress in clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training program.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in home care is essential.
  • Successful background check and possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A genuine desire to provide compassionate care.
  • Dependable, motivated, and well-organized individual.
