Job DescriptionCritical Care Nursing Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Services department, you will provide safe patient care and direct patient teaching. You will also direct and guide other nursing personnel, maintaining professional nursing care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
- Maintain standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
- Communicate with physicians about patient clinical condition changes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate.
- Current ACLS and PALS certificates.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
