Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lead MRI Technologist to manage and operate a 3-Tesla Siemens Magnetom Cima.X Magnetic Resonance Scanner. The successful candidate will provide high-quality images of research study participants and MRI recipients for research and clinical diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Operate the 3-Tesla Siemens Magnetom Cima.X Magnetic Resonance Scanner to provide high-quality images of research study participants and MRI recipients.
  • Collaborate with researchers and healthcare professionals to develop and implement MRI protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure MRI safety and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations based on scan results and provide accurate and timely reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with researchers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Qualified as an MRI Technologist (ARRT approved MRI Certification, or ARRT approved MRI Certification within six months of hire for new grads)
  • BLS Certification (or within three months of hire for new grads) through American Heart Association
  • Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License
  • Graduate of a formal radiology technology training program from an AMA approved school
  • At least one year training experience with high field magnetic resonance system
  • Experience with operating Siemens MRI systems for research and/or clinical applications
  • Ability to perform Neuro Studies, MSK Studies, Abdominal Imaging, Pediatric Imaging, Chest Imaging (Non Cardiac)
  • Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts as well as coverage for weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in MRI related field preferred
  • At least four years of experience in Radiology and two years experience in MRI
  • Recent work experience in an acute care setting
