Job Summary:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric or Mental Health Registered Nurse to fill an opening with an Outpatient Clinic located in Blairsville, Georgia.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric problems using de-escalation techniques.
  • Work as part of a team to provide total medical care for patients.
  • Evaluate mental health needs, conduct contraband searches, and monitor the mental health environment of care.
  • Develop treatment plans, provide psychotherapy services, and administer medications.
  • Coordinate with families, doctors, and other health professionals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit.
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency.
  • Unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in a related field or a master's degree in Nursing or in related field is highly preferred.
