Job Title: Career Navigator

Dynamic Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Career Navigator to join our team. As a Career Navigator, you will play a critical role in helping job seekers achieve their career goals and connect with employers who need skilled workers.

Job Summary

The Career Navigator will be responsible for providing career counseling, job development, and placement assistance to a personal caseload of participants. This includes conducting eligibility determinations, orientations, and assessments, as well as recommending training and non-training programs to meet individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate program services and labor market information to participants
  • Follow established case management procedures for orientations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet participant goals
  • Provide career counseling and job development assistance to participants
  • Collaborate with Business Services Representatives to facilitate work experience process
  • Prepare and submit program applications, forms, and records in a timely manner
  • Accurately interpret and communicate assessment results to participants
  • Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies to promote program services
  • Contribute to the success of overall program outcomes based on applicable program reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, business, education, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Transferable skills and experience in case management, career counseling, or related field
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from participants, regulatory agencies, or community agencies
  • Ability to effectively present ideas verbally and give detailed briefings and training classes to staff, management, public groups, and customers
  • Ability to write effectively using correct English preparing memos, letters, reports, and customer case notes
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of labor market and other allied information to facilitate the career development and case management process
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to speak Spanish
Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
