Key Responsibilities:- Conduct phlebotomy procedures
- Process and receive specimens
- Access specimens
- Distribute specimens
- Perform and result specific test procedures
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred completion of a phlebotomy course. You'll also require computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of patient information, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions:
- Moderate physical demands, including standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods
- Prolonged exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue
- Occupational risk for communicable diseases and hazardous medications
