As a member of the treatment team, you will provide a range of therapeutic services to patients and families, including individual and group therapy sessions, family therapy, and liaison services with community agencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patients' psychosocial needs and developing treatment plans tailored to their developmental age and requirements.
- Providing direct therapy services, including group therapy and family therapy, as directed by treatment planning and program requirements.
- Collaborating with medical staff to determine the appropriateness of services and referring patients for intervention as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
- Participating in continuing education seminars and in-services to maintain professional licensure and competency.
Requirements include a Master's degree in a related field, licensure in the field of study (or eligibility for licensure), and valid driver's license for certain positions. Prior experience in a mental health program is preferred.
This role is part of the University Health Associates team, providing high-quality care to patients and families in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
