The Norfolk County Sheriff's Office seeks a Grant Fundamentals Specialist to oversee the full grant cycle process for various departments. This role requires collaboration with executive teams and fiscal staff, researching funding opportunities, writing and submitting grant applications, and tracking applications and awards.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts, communicating with department managers, and providing advice on funding opportunities and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate's degree in business or public administration, or equivalent experience, and at least 3 years of experience in contract or grants management/administration.
The Grants Compliance Administrator will work in a typical office environment, with occasional need to work outside of normal business hours. They will have frequent contact with other departments and the public, and will be required to communicate in person, by telephone, and via direct message. The employee will have access to high-level confidential information, and will be expected to apply appropriate judgment and discretion.
