About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Ctr-Tarzana, CA. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks and duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Conduct EKGs, vital signs, and basic patient care and transportation
  • Respond appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on the scope of service of the unit/department where assigned
Requirements
  • Graduate of any accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program
  • Or demonstrated equivalency (such as experience as a corpsman, EMT, foreign-licensed RN or MD)
  • Completion of 2nd semester of accredited Nursing Program, HHA with 1-2 years experience
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year Nurse Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or post-acute environment
