As a forward-thinking company aiming to launch our first suite of solutions in the near future, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps specialist to be a part of our success by leading the development and delivery of our company's payment hardware and SaaS solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing product strategies, including strategizing product/market fit, creating product roadmaps, and working collaboratively with our technology partners to ensure the successful commercialization, launch, and ongoing improvement of our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Support: Assist users with CodePay dashboard systems and payment applications, including troubleshooting, answering inquiries, and providing guidance and training.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with systems and devices, such as network connectivity problems, software bugs, and hardware malfunctions.
  • Equipment Management: Manage the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and updates of IT equipment like computers, printers, and network devices to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Software Installation and Updates: Install, configure, and update software applications to ensure compatibility and smooth operation.
  • Security Management: Monitor and manage the security of IT systems, including firewalls, antivirus software, and security updates, while also providing security awareness training.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Base Management: Maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases to facilitate self-help for users and improve support efficiency.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement to support decision-making processes.
  • Project Participation: Participate in IT projects such as system implementations, upgrades, or migrations, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • DevOps Tasks:
  • Automation: Implement and maintain automation tools and processes for continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD).
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage cloud services, container platforms, and virtualized environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable software delivery.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between development and operations teams to streamline processes and resolve technical issues effectively.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Strong interest and understanding of DevOps culture and tools.
  • Effective communication and collaboration within a team, along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English with the capability to read and write technical documentation.
  • Bilingual Mandarin for efficient communications with our manufacturing partner.
